Our Chief Sales Officer: Etienne Fieg

From recorder to mechanical engineering

Today we are proud to introduce our third founder and Chief Sales Officer Etienne Fieg). Etienne grew up in the beautiful wine region of Rheinhessen and spent the first years of his life intensively involved with music. Via the recorder, he finally moved on to the saxophone and piano at the age of 7. Some talent and many hours of practicing led to multiple prizes at the national competition JugendMusiziert and concert tours in Germany and abroad. Parallel to his A-levels, he completed a junior course in "Classical Saxophone" at the Johannes Gutenberg University of Music in Mainz, but then decided to pursue his second passion - mechanical engineering at the Technical University of Munich.

No engineers for eternity

Even though Etienne still enjoys tinkering with software for various challenges in mechanical engineering, he noticed during his studies that the working environment for engineers in German industry did not match his expectations 100%. Therefore, he completed an internship at a technically focused consulting firm during his studies and stayed true to consulting afterwards at the leading student consulting firm from Munich Academy Consult. There he also met his co-founders Florian and Darius. After further professional stations, among others at Mercedes-Benz AG, as well as in a start-up in career consulting, Etienne decided for a new challenge: Spreadly!

Music is not his only passion

And when he's not working or at trade shows, he enjoys mountain biking and road biking, jogging and swimming. And of course he remains faithful to music and plays saxophone and piano
