Your event data is full of answers. Which trade show generated the best leads? What did a prospect say in your last conversation? Which follow-ups are still open? Until now, answering those questions often meant opening Spreadly, searching manually, exporting data, or switching between multiple tools.

Today, that changes.

We’re announcing the Spreadly MCP integration — a simple way to connect Spreadly to AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Langdock, and any other client that supports remote MCP servers.

With Spreadly MCP, you can ask questions about your leads, events, notes, and follow-ups in plain language. You can also create and manage data without leaving your AI workspace.

Your Spreadly data, available through conversation

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets AI applications connect to external tools and data sources. Instead of building a separate integration for every AI product, Spreadly provides one remote MCP server that compatible clients can connect to.

The result is a more natural way to work with event and lead data: ask a question, request an analysis, or tell Spreadly what to create.

For example:

  • What were my last conversations with these leads about?
  • Which event matched our ideal customer profile best?
  • Create the upcoming events from the attached Excel file.
  • Show me the leads that failed to sync to our CRM.

These are not just keyword searches. Your connected AI tool can summarize notes, compare event performance, and help turn your data into an answer you can act on.

What you can do with Spreadly MCP

Spreadly MCP supports a range of practical tasks across your lead and event workflows.

Search and understand leads

Ask about lead details, conversations, notes, and follow-ups without manually opening individual records. This makes it easier to prepare for a call, review conversations after an event, or identify contacts that need attention.

Compare events and performance

Use natural-language questions to compare events and evaluations. For example, you can ask which event performed best against your ICP or request a summary of the strongest and weakest results across your events.

Create and manage events

Spreadly MCP is not limited to reading data. You can create new events, update existing information, and manage event records from your AI tool.

This is especially useful for repetitive work — such as creating multiple events from an Excel file or copying last year’s events and updating them for the new year.

Work with custom fields

You can inspect your organisation’s custom fields to understand how your data is structured and use that information while working with leads and events.

View digital business cards

Your digital business card information is also available through the connection, making it easier to retrieve and work with your current contact details.

Connect in under a minute

The connection uses the remote MCP server at: https://spreadly.app/mcp

You authenticate with your existing Spreadly account using OAuth. There are no API keys to generate, store, or rotate.

Spreadly MCP works with Claude, ChatGPT, and Langdock today. Other AI clients can connect as soon as they support remote MCP servers and OAuth 2.0 dynamic client registration.

Connect to Claude

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Go to Connectors in the Customize section.
  3. Click Add → Add custom connector.
  4. Enter Spreadly as the name and https://spreadly.app/mcp as the remote MCP server URL.
  5. Leave the advanced settings empty.
  6. Click Add, then Connect to authorise your Spreadly account.

Connect to ChatGPT

  1. Open the Plugins section.
  2. Click the + button in the top-right corner.
  3. Enter Spreadly as the name and https://spreadly.app/mcp as the connection.
  4. Select OAuth for authentication.
  5. Click Create, then sign in with Spreadly to authorise your account.

Connect to Langdock

  1. Go to Customize → Integrations.
  2. Click Add integration and select Start from scratch.
  3. Select Connect remote MCP.
  4. Enter https://spreadly.app/mcp as the server URL.
  5. Select OAuth 2.0 (Dynamic Client Registration) as the authentication method.
  6. Click Create and connect, then authorise your Spreadly account.

For other AI clients, look for a Plugins, MCP, or Integrations section. Add https://spreadly.app/mcp as the server URL and choose OAuth 2.0 with dynamic client registration when prompted.

Your permissions stay your permissions

Spreadly MCP uses your existing Spreadly login and access rights. The AI tool can only access data that your Spreadly account is already allowed to access.

The connection is designed around three principles:

  • OAuth authentication: Sign in with your existing Spreadly account instead of creating an API key.
  • Permission-based access: Requests are scoped to your Spreadly permissions.
  • User-controlled access: Disconnect Spreadly in your AI tool whenever you want. Access ends immediately.

Spreadly is ISO 27001-certified and operates in data centres in Germany and is GDPR compliant. However, when you use MCP, the information needed to answer your request is sent to the AI provider you choose. This can include leads, notes, and event data. Make sure the AI tool you connect is appropriate for the information you plan to process.

Less manual access. Faster answers.

The value of Spreadly MCP is not that it adds another dashboard. It removes the need for one.

Instead of spending time exporting data, filtering spreadsheets, and looking through event records, your team can start with the question they actually need to answer. The AI tool can then retrieve the relevant information from Spreadly, summarise it, and help you decide what to do next.

That means less manual data access and more time spent following up with the right leads.
